Connecting ambitious KPU students to professional opportunities, industry networks, and a community built for growth.
The Kwantlen Business Student Association (KBSA) was founded in May 2026 with one goal: to build the bridge between classroom knowledge and real-world opportunity for students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
We exist to cultivate a thriving ecosystem where students connect with recruiters, sharpen their professional skills, and find their people in the Greater Vancouver business landscape.
Whether you're exploring accounting, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, or management — KBSA is your launchpad.
Everything we do at KBSA is rooted in these six principles. They guide how we build our community, design our programs, and serve our members.
We hold ourselves and our community to a high standard — preparing members for careers, not just classrooms.
Business is for everyone. We actively create space for students of every background, discipline, and ambition level.
Relationships drive careers. We create genuine networking opportunities, not hollow handshake events.
Every decision is made through the lens of what serves KPU students best — full stop.
Theory meets practice. We bridge the gap between academic study and real industry experience.
Transparent leadership, ethical decisions, and accountability to our members — always.
Ryder leads KBSA's corporate relations, building the partnerships and outreach framework that connect members to industry. An accounting student drawn to corporate tax and strategic finance, he pairs sharp data analysis with the relationships that give a young organization credibility.
Connect on LinkedInMarcus oversees KBSA's finances, keeping budgeting and stewardship disciplined as the association grows. A management student with a philosophy minor and his sights on corporate law, he brings structured thinking and a builder's instinct from founding and leading teams of his own.
Connect on LinkedInPartner with KBSA to reach motivated, career-ready students at KPU. Three simple tiers, flexible terms.
